About

Mill Creek has been my home for nearly 35 years. I have watched it grow from a small planned community, built around the Mill Creek Golf & Country Club to be an incorporated city of 18,000+ people.

Back in the day, we had to trek to Lynnwood, Bothell or Silver Lake and beyond to buy groceries, see a doctor or dentist and to get a fill-up at the gas station! Now Mill Creek is home to multiple resources in Mill Creek Square, Mill Creek Plaza, and the newest destination-Mill Creek Town Center.

Within the city limits you will find a sports field, a skate park and Mill Creek Library, a branch of the Sno-Isle Regional Library System.
There is a vibrant Senior Center as well as the MC Women’s Club and the MC Garden Club which both meet regularly.

The purpose of this blog is to share the news and happenings in the city and surrounding community. Whether it is a new restaurant, an established retail shop, a sporting event, seasonal festival or a story about some of the people who live here making a difference in and for their community, the goal is to make it interesting and informative for residents, “ex-pats” and visitors alike. Do tell.
